This site is designed as a community interpreter training resource. The concept is simple: a platform where people can access range of speeches in a variety of languages in order to practice interpreting, and contribute to the open education resource by submitting a recording themselves. The site is hosted and curated by The University of Leeds as this offers us the necessary legal framework, support and resource to look after it. However, our objective is that this open education resource belongs to those who use and contribute to it, worldwide. We welcome contributions in the form of speeches, as well as comments on the material and contact via email. If this site is useful to you for purposes other than interpreting, that’s great too.
